My name is Nicholai and I am currently an Architect Lead at my company. My preferred text editors are RubyMine and Visual Studio Code (I used Coda for 5+ years as well). I develop on a Mac, and I am looking into Podman to help with development and testing.

I created this blog as an excuse to learn GitHub Pages, and to have a place to remind me of things I’ve done. My resume has more details on my skills and experience.

Away from work, I watch sci-fi (Star Trek!), comic book adaptations (The Boys, Invincible) and anime. I gravitate towards current affairs and history when reading books and listening to podcasts. I want to get back to gaming but can’t bring myself to buy a PS5.
